逆境

 

逆境可用suffering, hardship和adversity三個字。

 

suffering既countable也可uncountable,通常指對很多人造成的逆境,能指自然災害造成的逆境,動詞cause和形容詞unnecessary是suffering的常見搭配詞。

hardship既countable也可uncountable,通常指個別的人面對的逆境,能指經濟困難或生活困難,動詞suffer, cause, face, experience, endure和形容詞economic, financial, great, physical, undue是hardship的常見搭配詞。
